Day 4 Itinerary
For this day, there are 2 options for the itinerary, both ending up in Portland. Option 1 includes a slower paced, relaxed route while Option 2 is a more active day with a waterfall hike.
Option #1
1) Drive from Cape Kiwanda to Tillamook Creamery (40 min drive)
2) Drive to Portland, Oregon (1.5 hour drive)
3) Spend the night in Portland (Hotel recommendation below)
Option #2
1) Drive from Cape Kiwanda to Silver Falls State Park (2 hour drive)
2) Drive to Portland, Oregon (1.5 hour drive)
3) Spend the night in Portland (Hotel recommendation below)
Tillamook Creamery
This is a fun stop on the way to Portland. You can reserve a tour of the factory in advance or just stop by for the restaurant featuring fresh made cheese and ice-cream.
Silver Falls Hike
This 7.5 mile moderate hike consists of 10 waterfalls throughout the trail. For a shorter hike, complete only part of the trail since many of the waterfalls are less than 2 miles into the hike.
