Day 5 Itinerary
This day is all about exploring Portland’s beautiful outdoor gardens.
1) Drive to the Portland Japanese Garden
2) Drive to the International Rose Test Garden (only 1 min drive from Japanese Garden)
3) Drive to Lan Su Chinese Garden (15 min drive)
4) Return rental car and flight out
Tip: If you have more time or an extra day, check out Multnomah falls (about 45 min. from Portland) and Cannon Beach (1.5 hours from Portland).
Portland Japanese Garden
This tranquil garden includes waterfalls, teahouses, and a Koi fish pond. Tickets are $19 per person and should be reserved in advance! Book here.
International Rose Test Garden
This vibrant garden is full of multi-colored roses for as far as the eye can see. The best part, it’s completely free to the public!
Lan Su Chinese Garden
Lan Su Chinese Garden is located in the heart of Portland’s China Town. While quite smaller than the Japanese garden, this garden still boasts equally beautiful water features and architecture. Tickets are $13 per person and should be reserved in advance! Book here.
