St. James Club Resort Review
St. James Club is a 4 star, all inclusive resort on the southeastern side of the island. I’ve listed the pros and cons about the hotel below. Overall, we loved staying at this resort and had so many great things to do here.
Pros:
The resort has tons of included activities. Paddle boards, kite surfing, mini catamarans and kayaks are free to use on the beach. There are various lessons, arts & crafts, and activites offered different days of the week.
There are 6 different restaurants on the resort and they are all very good. In addition, there is a treehouse coffee shop, open 24/7, as well as multiple bars along the beach. All these spots have gorgeous views and are shaded.
There are 6 different pools and ample chairs and umbrellas set up along the beach. The resort is very lush with palm trees, flowers and greenery everywhere making it a perfect place to relax. The island in general, little rain and you are likely to get clear skies while visiting.
Cons:
One of the beaches on this resort is prone to accumulating kelp so keep that in mind if booking during kelp season (May to September). The second beach on this resort is in Mamora Bay and the bay protects the beach from getting kelp. Only one of the two beaches on this resort is affected.
The wifi is better in some places than others and isn’t always reliable in hotel rooms.
