Dendera to Hurghada

• Drive 1.5 hours from Luxor to Dendera. The Dendera Temple Complex is here and it is such a cool place to explore. The temple was built for the goddess Hathor, the goddess of the sky, women, fertility and love. Hathor was often depicted as a cow and her face can be see all over the temple. This temple is one of the most well preserved and intact temples in Egypt. It has a beautiful and very detailed blue ceiling as well of dozens of intricate pillars.

• Next stop Hurghada! To get to Hurghada, you can either drive/take a bus from Dendera or drive back to Luxor and take a flight. Hurghada is a beach resort town stretching along Egypt’s Red Sea coast. It’s renowned for scuba diving, snorkeling, and sailing.
