Things to do in Steamboat Springs:
1) Strawberry Park Hot Springs
Strawberry Park is a beautiful hot springs in the middle of nature. It has 3 geothermal pools of varying temperatures. In the winter, the road to the springs requires all wheel/4 wheel drive but the park offers shuttles if needed. Reservations are required in advance and they can be booked here. 2) Steamboat Ski Resort
Steamboat is known for getting plenty of snow. The resort has 2,965 acres of ski & snowboard terrain, several restaurants, a gondola, and an alpine coaster. Day tickets can be purchased here.
3) Downtown Steamboat Springs
Steamboat’s main street is located on Lincoln Ave. It has tons of shops, restaurants, and artwork. Solar Flare is a great spot to buy and create glass artwork. Some of the best restaurants here include Creekside Café (breakfast), Mazzola’s (Italian), and Salt & Lime (Mexican).
4) Fish Creek Falls
This 280-foot-high freshwater waterfall has hiking trails to the base and the top of the waterfall as well as an overlook point. The overlook point is an easy, 1 mile trail that takes about 30 min. Find more information about the hike to the base or top of the falls here.
